Ukrainian Medical Association
UMA is the title industry organization that creates the future of healthcare in the country. We implement projects and launch nationwide trends that change the course of history in the main areas of medicine - the field of information media (publishing and conference sphere), medical education, medical business and advertising, clinical trials and practice. UMA was established in 2002 as an all-Ukrainian public organization with a non-profit status. In its structure, it has representative offices in 18 regions of Ukraine, developed contacts with foreign universities, North American and Israeli diaspora.
The only one in the country that covers educational activities of all specialties, formats (conferences, magazines, distance video courses, the Internet) and types of content providers (universities, public organizations, private publishing houses and medical communications agencies). As ACCME in North America and EACCME in the European Union, we have created a national education credit system that has gone from being a public initiative to being a state standard.
A model for organizing a medical event, created and developed by the Ukrainian Medical Association. It consists in creating educational spaces that give participants the greatest possible intensity of perception of information and skills, and an unprecedented cultural program in terms of the level of emotions. At the beginning of 2013, it was worked out in 8 events. It was awarded with the statuette "Golden Goodwin", the Special Jury Prize for the best creative solution and the Nomination for the Grand Prix (III International Festival EVENTarization).
The only systematic program for the protection of health workers in Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the protection of participants in medical education (participation in medical conferences as a listener, speaking as a speaker), legally competent financing of education (obtaining Educational grants). It is based on a system of legal documents and organizational practices developed with the participation of Paritet Law Firm (now Danevytch Law Firm). Passed a stringent legal and financial audit of a number of international pharmaceutical companies.
